Here's the thing. It's not perfect. It's far from it.
Our first apartment. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms on the third floor of an ugly building in downtown Chilton. We live in between two factories and across from a bowling alley and two bars. The apartment has cream colored walls and brown carpet which clash so much with the light brown trim. But you know what?
I love it.
I love it because its our first apartment and I can't wait to tell my kids about it someday. Which is why I am documenting it. Because I want to remember every single part of it. From the AC/Heat units that look like they came from a hotel room to the fact that we have to put our dining table on the carpet.
Things that I do love about this place? I love that at 4 pm the sun shines so bright into our big windows that stand all tall across our apartment. And that I get a work out in every day going up and down three flights of stairs. I love that we have two bedrooms and two bathrooms for when guests come to visit. And I love that it's not perfect or beautiful because it's healthy to have to "suffer" a little. :)
